Dr. Martin B. Epstein received his dental and orthodontic degrees at New York University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, and was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. Dr. Epstein was honored with the American Dental Association Certificate of Recognition for his volunteer service in a foreign country (Israel). He has also taught seminars in Europe, Asia, and South America.
Dr. Epstein is a retired clinical associate professor in the Department of Orthodontics Post-Graduate Division at New York University College of Dentistry. While there, he was given the Teacher of the Year Award and Certificate of Merit for the Advancement of Preventive Dentistry and Dental Health Education. He has served on the board of directors of the NYU Orthodontic Alumni Society.
Throughout his 30-year career, Dr. Epstein has been published in several American and International journals. He also served on the manuscript review committee for the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Epstein was named a “Top Orthodontist” in New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s 2015 survey of New Jersey dentists for the sixth consecutive year. The results of the survey were published in the July 2015 issue. For 2013, he was also voted one of NJ Family Magazine’s “Kids’ Favorite Docs.” Also, for the third consecutive year, Dr. Epstein was selected as one of “America’s Top Dentists” in 2010 by the Consumer Research Council.
Having performed more than one thousand successful patient cases, Dr. Epstein is included in the “Top 100” Invisalign® Elite Premier Providers in the United States.
Dr. Epstein enjoys kayaking for exercise and golfing for mental aggravation. He is an extremely proud husband, father of Dr. Joshua Epstein and Jordan Bohm, and grandfather to Sydney, Skylar, Sloane, and Liam.
